House Rules. Short, Fair, Enforced.

VibCall Community Guidelines

Random video chat only works when strangers treat each other decently. These are the rules that keep it that way — five minutes of reading, then you never have to think about them again.

  • No sign-up hassle
  • Real people, real chats
  • Safe & private

VibCall runs on a simple deal: you show up as yourself, and the stranger on your screen does too. These community guidelines are how we protect that deal. If they all read as common sense to you — good. That's the point.

Why VibCall has rules at all

Picture the moment a chat starts. A face pops up on your screen, you have about two seconds to read the vibe, and neither of you got a handbook. Most people are decent by default — that's the only reason random video chat works at all.

But a small crowd ruins it for everyone: the harassers, the scammers, the people who treat a stranger's screen like a consequence-free zone. The VibCall rules exist for them, not for you. Here they are, in plain language.

Rule 1 — Respect the person on your screen

The stranger in front of you showed up for the same reason you did: to talk to someone new. Treat them like it. Jokes, teasing, awkward small talk — all fine. Slurs, threats, harassment, humiliating someone for a laugh — that's a report, and it's how accounts end.

Respect also means taking no for an answer. If someone skips you, that's the whole story. If they decline a request, the answer was the answer. Everyone on VibCall can leave any chat at any moment — that freedom only works if nobody punishes it.

Rule 2 — Content boundaries in every chat

Some lines don't move, no matter how well a chat is going. No sexual content or exposing yourself on camera. No pressuring a match into anything they didn't come for. No violence, nothing illegal in frame.

Not sure whether something crosses a line? Run the coffee-shop test: would you do it in front of a stranger you liked, in public, on your best behavior? If not, it doesn't belong in a VibCall chat either.

Rule 3 — Scams, money, and sob stories

If a chat turns into a fundraiser, it's not a chat anymore. Asking for money, gift cards, crypto, or "emergency help" is a scam pattern, and it's one of the fastest ways off this platform.

Same goes for pushing you toward another app or an outside payment link two minutes in — that's how these schemes work everywhere, not just here. And to be clear: nobody from VibCall will ever ask you for money or coins inside a chat. If "support" shows up in your video window asking for payment, you're looking at a scammer. Report them.

Rule 4 — VibCall is for adults, no exceptions

You must be 18 or older to use VibCall. Full stop. Accounts we believe belong to minors get removed, and this is the one rule we never negotiate.

If you have kids around, keep them off camera and off the platform entirely. And if you ever suspect the person you're matched with is underage, end the chat and report it — that report goes to the top of the pile.

How reporting works (and why it's one tap)

Every chat carries Report and Block one tap away. Block cuts the person out of your world instantly. Report sends the chat context to our moderation team, where a human reads it against these guidelines — your identity is never shown to the person you flagged.

Reporting is half the system. The other half is your own habits, and our video chat safety tips cover those: what to share, what to keep to yourself, and when to just hit Next. Rules police the community; habits protect you inside it.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all punishment, so consequences come in steps. A first-time minor slip earns a warning. Keep going and the account gets restricted — fewer privileges, tighter limits. Serious or repeated violations end in a ban, and the worst offenses skip the ladder entirely.

A few things worth knowing. Reports are judged with context, not in isolation. Repeat offenders don't get to reset the clock. And the legal fine print behind all of this lives in our terms of service, which these guidelines summarize rather than replace.

Questions, appeals, and grey areas

Think a moderation call went wrong? Contact VibCall and tell us your side — a human takes a second look. You can also write to support[at]vibcall.com directly; safety mail gets priority.

And if everything above felt obvious — perfect. These community guidelines exist so most users never think about them again, and the few who test them find out fast. Now go meet someone worth meeting.

Community guidelines questions

What happens if I break the VibCall rules?

It depends on what happened and how often. A first minor slip usually earns a warning. Repeated problems lead to restrictions on the account, and serious violations — scams, harassment, illegal content — can mean an immediate ban. A human reviews every report with the chat context attached.

How do I report someone breaking the community guidelines?

Tap Report inside the chat — it sends the context straight to our moderation team. Hit Block at the same time to cut the person off instantly. For anything bigger than a single chat, email support[at]vibcall.com; safety mail gets priority.

Do the community guidelines apply in every country?

Yes. The same rules — respect, no scams, nothing illegal, adults only — apply to every user everywhere. Local law sits on top of these rules, never instead of them.
